A meeting takes place in Laredo where a rich group of rivals plan to take each other on in a high stakes poker game. As the action ramps up a recovering gambler decided that he wants a piece of the action, staking his family savings in the process. A gem of a movie starring Henry Fonda, Joanne Woodward and Jason Robards.

Starring the young andd iconic Steve McQueen as a poker player (Cincinnati Kid) who shows his class against some of the best poker players around. A game is scheduled against one of the best in town (Lancey “The Man” Howard) . However a discovery that the game is being fixed throws a spanner in the works.
